You have to get over it!
Moving on to another level requires you to stop, to remove, not to add…
It’s counter-intuitive, because we tell ourselves we’re missing something, when in reality, what’s really missing is assuming the essential!
I spend more time telling my customers what they should stop doing than what they should do more of. It’s difficult, because we’re attached to investments and love novelty…
When it comes to organization and structure, it’s essential to stop:
– Certain habits and thought patterns
– Certain (often emotional) responses to situations
– What’s no longer relevant or working
– Things we hold on to that are no longer viable
– Complexity and slowing-down processes
– Dead weight
In a nutshell. It’s hard to see clearly and gain structure when you’re accumulating.
I have a rule with my team: if you add something, you have to remove something else…
The same goes for my home: if one item goes in, another has to come out! Otherwise it’s clutter…
Our brain is the same, we can’t store and accumulate thoughts/ideas/information ad infinitum, or stay in the same emotions and patterns, it has to go through us to allow us to move on lighter.
Our own body does the sorting; when it stores, there’s an imbalance.
We’re entering autumn, like the falling leaves…
You can take this opportunity to reflect on what you need to stop, remove, let FALL:
– Habits
– Patterns and ways of thinking
– More viable projects
– Processes
– Relationships
Even if it’s difficult, it’s for your own good!
And if it’s something you need help with, so we can structure you towards simplicity, you know where to find me 😉
You can use my prompts to get clarity…
