Holidays are just around the corner, it’s time to celebrate!
And that’s just what I wanted to talk to you about…
Do you allow yourself to celebrate ?
I’ve spent the year giving you tips on how to set and reach your goals, and even started for next year… but there’s this ingredient that’s part of the process and just as important as the rest…
🎉 What matters most and what you should celebrate…
Too often, we wait for the “big results” to celebrate.
We tell ourselves, “I’ll celebrate when I’ve achieved [insert huge goal here].”
But you know what? That’s the best way to lose motivation and fun along the way.
Besides, what you celebrate reflects what you value, what’s important to your brain and the alignment of your intentions!
Introspective pause and celebration
At the end of the year, it’s time to pause and appreciate how far we’ve come…
I say how far we’ve come, not necessarily what’s happened along the way 🙂
We tend to only want to celebrate results, but we don’t always control them:
- Your customer may cancel a contract.
- Algorithms can ignore your content.
- External circumstances can upset your plans.
- You can do your best and still have external elements that don’t follow.
But what you really control are your efforts, your choices, your consistency and your attitude.
That’s where you should look for your real victories.
Celebrate:
Commitment: You stuck to your plan, your convictions, your vision, your ethics, even when it was hard. Bravo, that’s a victory. đź‘Ź
L’Attitude: You chose to stay positive despite a setback. Yes, that’s something to be proud of. đź’Ş
The Choices: You said “no” to something that wasn’t aligned. That deserves to be celebrated. 🙌
Perseverance: You learned, adjusted and kept going despite obstacles. That’s huge. 🚀
Life: You woke up this morning, that’s one more chance and opportunity! Small moments, alone or in good company are worth celebrating! ❤️
Why is celebrating essential?
- It boosts long-term motivation.
- You create a virtuous circle of satisfaction and confidence.
- You train your brain to focus on progress rather than lack.
How to celebrate intelligently :
👉 Take your time. A victory doesn’t have to be monumental to be celebrated. Even a good day deserves a “well done.”
👉 Express your gratitude. Acknowledge your efforts and thank those who support you.
👉 Anchor your pride. Write down what you’re proud of in a notebook or on a visible board.
An important reminder:
Lasting satisfaction doesn’t come from what you get, but from who you become along the way. So make every milestone a moment to celebrate🎉
We keep moving forward with meaning, awareness and enthusiasm!
Take care of yourself and your loved ones,
Johann
